TRIBUTE TO A REAL CLASSIC.BUT RELIES ON ITS OWN DNA.
The KAEGE RETRO® is not a copy. It is an interpretation of the legendary F-model, based on a 993. Both cars’ dimensions differ fundamentally, hence a mere copy would not even have been technically feasible. But we succeeded in preserving the authentic proportions – and thus are proud to have created a sports car that may be seen as a tribute to a classic but relies on its own DNA.

Beyond the grace of the KAEGE RETRO®, we have put our heart and soul into the details: Chrome trim, bumpers, lights as well as tank and oil caps provide nostalgic perfection – even when looking very closely.
A lightweight beauty.
By deliberately using carbon parts we did not only add a modern touch to this nostalgic car concept but also were able to reduce the RETRO’s overall weight in comparision with the original 993 by more than 100 kilograms. Little bodywork modifications that will be positively reflected in the car’s driving characteristics and a reduced fuel consumption – but remain completely invisible in terms of the consequent nostalgic overall look.
Old wheels reinvented.
An immaculate vintage look – but as modern, safe and powerful as possible by any means: This also applies to the RETRO’s tires and rims: We made the decision for a modern high-end wheel in the classy “Fuchs”-design. But of course, we are open for your ideas and preferences as well in this regard.
Innovative luminosity.
With our BI-LED headlights for classic Porsche models, we have brought the latest LED technology to a perfect nostalgic look. Uncompromisingly authentic – but genuinely innovative.
Sound performance.
One of the few parts where we have decided in favour of a complete redesign: The exhaust pipe. It suits the RETRO – the sound, the performance and the quality prove that we have made the right decision.

Ergonomic Recaro seats ensure maximum comfort on your trips back to the good old days, and should you ever want to listen to something other than the melody of the 300 hp engine – the speakers of the high-performance sound system blend discreetly into the interior ensemble.

03 —— ENGINE/TECHNICS
AIR-COOLED.IN PERFECTION.
The KAEGE RETRO® CLASSIC is equipped with a completely overhauled engine from the 993 – and thus with the best air-cooled production technology ever built in the Swabian region. Finely disassembled, inspected, finely balanced and reassembled, the unit appears extremely refined, smooth-running and stable. Through careful fine-tuning, we have been able to increase the output from 3.6 liters of displacement with 286 hp (standard) to 3.8 liters of displacement with 300 hp. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the installed hydro tappets, the RETRO requires very little maintenance – and thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche workshop.

Consistent KW.
It is a matter of honor that we also install the proven and for us exclusively tuned KW suspensions in the KAEGE RETRO® CLASSIC. Comfort, damping behavior and sportiness are unsurpassed with the suspensions of this manufacturer.
Quite the 993.
As with the six-cylinder unit, we made few changes to the 993's six-speed transmission. Although it has been overhauled and tested for heart and sprocket: Some things are just good as they are.
Value investment.
The same applies to the brake system. It has been reconditioned from the 993 and has lost none of its value for a sporty and safe driving experience.
04 —— COMFORT/SAFETY
SAFE TIME TRAVEL
Innovative luminosity.
A question of safety: When it comes to headlights, the "good old days" seem to be much longer ago than with other components. For us reason enough in the KAEGE RETRO® to sell our LED headlights from own production. They fit flawlessly into the optical look, but are indeed decades ahead of their predecessor in terms of economy, luminous intensity and durability.
Just in case.
In the days of the F-model still a dream of the future, now rightly an undisputed safety standard. Authenticity must not come at the expense of safety - which is why the KAEGE RETRO® is naturally equipped with airbags. Hopefully, you will neither notice nor need it.
Recaro, logically.
Ergonomically perfect, ultimately comfortable and safe: It's only logical that the RETRO also uses the best seats available on the market. No matter which design you choose - it's worth trying it out!
Cool head on a journey through time.
We were particularly pleased with some of the blessings of the modern age in the 993: In contrast to the F model, it already had air conditioning as standard. In the RETRO, it has been completely overhauled and, in addition to the optional sunroof, ensures that every drive is not only a pleasure, but also the perfect temperature.

COLOR
In the end, it's up to you to decide which color your Retro will shine in. As purists, however, we naturally advise modern paints in shades that were at some point a classic Porsche color.
CHROM-PACKAGE
Tank cap, oil cap, various parts such as door locks, catch rakes, tank strap chromed in retro style. Hinges of the front and rear hood made of highly polished aluminum in retro style.
WHEELS
Here – as with many other features - we are open to your wishes. On the TARGA, we use a three-piece wheel in the classic Fuchs design as standard.

The RETRO LED headlights from our own production blend flawlessly into the visual look. Choose between chrome, carbon or black housing.
